James and the kids unanimously voted for this name, though I have not yet brought myself to print up "TERDS" on our shirts for outings! More specifically who we are....
Julie (mama TERD, Principal TERD)- full time working mom of 4 and principal and organizer of TERD School!
James (the BIG TERD!)- stay at home dad, homeschool teacher extroidinare, musician and techno geek.
Roman (#1 TERD) - oldest child of 4 and only boy = spoiled rotten 5th grader who began homeschooling in Feb 2010
Hope (TERD 2) - 3rd grader and first time homeschooler
Bethany (the 3rd TERD) - 1st grader and first time homeschooler
Kathryn (baby TERD) - the toddler terror who provides great homeschooling challenges daily!
We began homeschooling officially February 26, 2010 when we made the decision to pull Roman from 4th grade public school and homeschool. I will get into our reasons and the process we took to get where we are in another post someday. It was a great decision for our family and worked so well that we decided to pull our girls from public school as well and became an official homeschool family this past fall.
Homeschooling is an adventure and I'd like to attempt to journal our journey into the homeschool world in this blog (you know, if all my free time.... LOL)
